MY FAVOURITE PLACES TO TAKE PICTURES IN LONDON

After visiting London in february, I already uploaded a traveldiary and a post about my Outfits, so I let you vote on Instagram what kind of blogpost you want this time.“Where to take the best pictures in London“ is what most of you were interested in.
The ones who have been following me for a while know that I´m not the girl that´s going locationhunting, especially not those sunny-funny-flowerspots. But I bet many of you are interested in those places, so I listed them at „locations I only went to because Verena wanted to“ after the locations I actually love.

London…definitiv eine meiner Lieblingsstädte. Ein Traveldiary und einen „Londonlooks“ Post hatte ich nach meinem letzten Besuch ja schon hochgeladen und genau deshalb hatte ich euch in meiner Insta-Story gefragt was euch diesmal interessiert – meine liebsten Fotolocations. Denjenigen, die mir schon etwas länger folgen und die meine Story gesehen haben, wird aufgefallen sein, dass wir bei vielen super süßen Blumenlocations waren – eigentlich gar nicht so mein Ding. Da ich aber denke, dass es trotzdem viele interessiert, habe ich sie ganz am Ende unter „locations I only went to because Verena wanted to“ aufgeführt 😀

PICCADILLY CIRCUS
Considering myself as a fahionblogger, I love locations that
1. are typical for London
&
2. you can orchestrate for fashionposts.
Picadilly Circus is perfect for that. The characteristic „Underground“ sign, old lantern and typical red busses – taking such a picture doesn´t require as much patience as you´d think it does – even in the middle of the day.

Ich sehe mich selbst als Fashionbloggerin, deshalb sind für mich auf Reisen Locations interessant, die
1. typisch für den entsprechenden Ort sind
&
2. die man für ein Fashionbild inszenieren kann.
Piccadilly Circus ist dafür einfach perfekt. Das typische „Underground“ Schild, die alte Laterne und dazu noch ein paar der charakteristischen Busse im Hintergrund. Ein solches Bild hinzubekommen ist mit ein wenig Geduld selbst mitten am Tag gar nicht so schwer.

WESTMINSTER ABBEY

Another Location that is perfect for fashionposts. The old church in which the kings are traditionally crowned and burried is pretty impressive and – since it´s located at a road junction adn there´s a lot of open space – quite easy to take pictures of. We chose to include one of the typical red phone boxes in our shot – é voila: there it is, the typical London streetstyle picture.

Eine weitere meiner Lieblings Londoner streetstyle Locations: Westminster Abbey. Die alte Kirche, in der traditionell die Könige gekränt und begraben werden steht direkt an einer großen Straßenkreuzung, sodass mein Freund und ich sie bei unserem Londontrip imm Februar durch Zufall „entdeckt“ ahben. Vergangene Woche haben Verena und ich sie aber gezielt als Fotolocation genutzt und nopch eine der typischen roten Telefonzellen eingebunden. é voila: das perfekte londonder Streetstykle Bild.

WESTMINSTER

Definetely my favourite neighboorhood in London, just because it´s beautiful and no matter where you turn – it´s all instagramable (well, at least nearly all). I love the architecture, the simple colours, I love that it´s not crowded.

Definitiv eine meiner Lieblingsgegenden in London. Westminster ist wunderschön. Die Architektur ist einfach der waaahnsinn und egal aus welchem Winkel: es ist absolut fototauglich. Außerdem habe ich die Gegend noch nie überfüllt gesehen. Hier ist einfach zu jeder Zeit Fotozeit.

HARRODS (at night)

Probably THE most famous department store in London, beautifully illuminated at night and definitely worth a picture (or two).
I usually take my pictures with my mobile phone, but for this one I decided to also use Verena´s camera. I doubt that even the best mobile phone can take such pictures at night. But sursprise me & send me your results in case you should try 😉

Das wohl berühmteste Kaufhaus in London, bei Nacht wunderschön beleuchtet und definitiv das ein oder andere Bild wert. Auch, wenn ich meine Bilder in der Regel mit meinem Handy schieße, habe auch ich hier auf Verena´s Kamera zurückgegriffen.
Ob man es mit dem Handy auch so gut hinbekommen hätte, bezweifle ich, falls ihr es aber probieret, schreibt mir gerne !

TOWER BRIDGE

Woop Woop – the picture I took here in February went through the ceiling -for my circumstances at that time. A seemingly risky action. But guys, I told you several times on different platforms: the bus was DEFINETELY further away & is cut in 😉 What do you think of me, my poor mom was standing next to it and the action was already enough thrill for her 😛
Let me know at this point if a tutorial is desired 😉

You can take great pictures from the side of the Towerbridge aswell. But the terrain is a bit slippery and nowadays there are security men who send you down very fast when you sit up – please be careful

Woop Woop – das Bild das ich hier im Februar gemacht habe ging für meine damaligen Verhältnisse ziemlich durch die Decke. Eine scheinbar risky Aktion. Aber Leute, ich hab´s schon einige Male auf verschiedenen Plattformen betont: der Bus war DEUTLICH weiter weg & ist reingeschnitten 😉 Was denkt ihr von mir, meine arme Mom stand daneben und die Aktion war schon genug Nervenkitzel für sie 😛
Lasst mich an dieser Stelle doch aber gerne einmal wissen, ob ein Tutorial gewünscht ist 😉

Auch vom „Festland“ kann man super Bilder von der Towerbridge machen. Das Gelämnder ist allerdings etwas rutschig und mitlerweile stehen sogar Sicherheitsmänner da, die einen ganz schnell runterschicken, wenn man sich raufsetzt – Vorsicht bitte !

REGENT STREET

One of my favourite pictures from our London trip. Regent Street is not only great for shopping, the middle bar is also great for taking pictures. Don’t despair if you don’t get so many busses on the picture – I’ve helped here again 😉

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsbilder von unserem Trip. Die Regent Street ist nicht nur toll zum Shoppen, der Mittelsteg eignet sich auch super zum Fotos machen. Verzweifelt nicht, wenn ihr nicht so viele Busse mit aufs Bild bekommt – ich habe hier auch wieder etwas nachgeholfen 😉
